We believe that the path to a fulfilling and purposeful life is best forged when a person's psychiatric symptoms are
viewed and treated within the context of his or her unique, lived experience.
Taking an integrated, multidisciplinary
approach, we treat the whole person, rather than a cluster of isolated complaints and symptoms. Our program provides
rehabilitative services that comprehensively addresses multiple issues in a person's life, while remaining flexible
and responsive to each person's changing needs.

Prakash & Ellenhorn is an ACT program (Assertive Community Treatment) offering a full of range of psychosocial rehabilitation and
psychiatric treatment services. The Prakash and Ellenhorn team consists of
a psychiatrist, a nurse, psychotherapists and counselors,
housing, vocational and substance abuse specialists,
and a peer counselor with experience as a consumer of mental health care.
These team members work together on a daily basis, focusing on providing an
integrated, coordinated, and multidisciplinary model of care.

Most of our work occurs in the homes and communities of our clients,
enabling results that are impossible to achieve in office-based settings.
By meeting people where they live, we are able to work directly with our clients
to assess and develop life-skills, attain vocational and educational goals, and move forward in life,
all while managing symptoms and finding healthy solutions to crisis situations.

At Prakash & Ellenhorn, we keenly understand that psychiatric disabilities are not nine-to-five problems.
For us, flexibility in service means flexibility in when we serve.
We see clients seven days a week, and provide on-call direct phone coverage 24 hours a day.
